Ow!, he complained, begging for help. But nobody dared touch the king´s behind. Demythologizing the customs and habits in the palace, Raquel Saiz builds an agile, simple and amusing text, very appropriate for the younger ones, and, with ingenuity and a great sense of humour, shows the most absurd side of those of “high social standing” that, for reasons of rank, seem unable to resolve something as simple as removing the pin… from the king’s bottom. The illustrations by Evelyn Daviddi offer us an amusing succession of characters, accumulating throughout the story, strengthening the comic character of the text in successive scenes and recreating with humorous irony the absurdity of the situation.
